Version 1.1 - Effective Date: 1 February 2026
This document is provided in English only. tikable is governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the English language version of this document is the sole legally binding version.
By accessing and using tikable, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.
tikable is a risk, issue, and opportunity management platform designed to help organisations track and manage their business processes. The service is provided on a subscription basis with various plan tiers offering different levels of capacity and features.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. Each user account is personal and must not be shared between individuals.
New organisations start on a free plan with access to core features subject to usage limits. You may use the service within these limits for as long as you wish at no charge.
Free plan usage limits include:
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly on a per-seat basis. All prices are displayed in GBP and are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
You may adjust your seat count or cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Seat increases take effect immediately with prorated billing. Seat decreases take effect at the start of the next billing cycle.
Upon cancellation of a paid subscription:
All plans, including the free plan, are subject to fair usage limits designed to maintain service quality and performance for all users. These limits include, but are not limited to:
Current fair usage limits are detailed in your account settings under Subscription and Usage. We will notify you when you are approaching a limit. If a limit is reached, you will be unable to add further content of that type until you add more seats, archive existing content, or otherwise reduce your usage.
tikable reserves the right to modify fair usage limits with reasonable notice. Any changes to limits will not take effect until the start of your next billing cycle. We will notify you in advance of any changes that materially affect your current usage.
Automated, programmatic, or bulk usage of the service beyond normal human interaction is not permitted without prior written agreement.
Your use of tikable is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect and process your data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Your data is retained for as long as your account remains active.
Following cancellation of a paid subscription, your account will revert to the free plan and your data will be retained for 12 months. We will send email reminders as the retention period approaches. After the 12-month retention period, your organisation and all associated data — including lists, items, updates, user accounts, and shared access configurations — may be permanently and irreversibly deleted.
Free plan accounts that have not been accessed by any user for 12 consecutive months are considered inactive. Inactive accounts may be deleted after 30 days’ written notice to the organisation administrator’s registered email address. Logging in during the notice period will reactivate the account.
You may export your data at any time while your account is accessible. We recommend exporting your data before any retention or notice period expires.
If you choose to delete your organisation through the account settings, a 30-day grace period applies during which the deletion can be reversed. After the grace period, deletion is permanent and irreversible.
You agree to use tikable only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
All content, features, and functionality of tikable — including but not limited to software, design, text, graphics, and trademarks — are owned by tikable and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of all content you create within tikable (lists, items, updates, and associated data). By using the service, you grant tikable a limited licence to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.
tikable is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, tikable shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to tikable in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email or through the service at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
We may terminate or suspend your account for material or repeated violation of these Terms, subject to reasonable notice where practicable. Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease and the data retention policy described in Section 8 will apply.
You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and requesting account deletion through your account settings.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
